Mike Lenz addressed the crowd and reminded them of the accomplishments of the Zimmer Administration and the battle for the Council majority that is at stake. He touched on the key issues such as the budget, the police layoffs, flooding, development. He spoke about making our city better together but did acknowledge the array of people against the positive change that the current majority and Administration have been making. He encouraged his supporters to reach out to every on. Carol Marsh described the qualities she felt made Mike Lenz as a skilled and educated Councilman and Reformer. Sam Briggs, spoke of the the grass-roots nature of Mike's campaign and the use of volunteers to get the message out using tools such as Facebook and volunteering to make phone calls.
