Here are some photos from Washington Street in Hoboken during yesterday's winter storm. This is perhaps Hoboken's second biggest snow job in 2010 besides the claim that 4th ward vote buyer Tim Occhipinti is indeed independent. Expect Hoboken 411 to blame Dawn Zimmer for the snow.

Also, there are plenty of things about the Mayor II don't like. I do feel though that a lot of people's expectations for removal of 2 feet of snow in under 24 hours in Hoboken are way out of whack. And people who pretend that other towns aren't having the same issues are lying through their teeth. Also it bothers me to see people and sites using any little thing to somehow try to discredit the mayor for their own agenda.

The city asked people to remove their cars from the emergency routes early Sunday. Whether it was cause of Christmas, the weekend or whatever that did not happen. The second that one flake came down the city should have been towing those routes and making it clear not to park there. The city should have also been alerting people sooner. The storm had plenty of warning.
All that being said, it was 2 feet of snow. Quite a bit for our tight streets to handle. There is no good place for that snow to go. And for people to expect that it all disappear within 24 hours is sheer lunacy.

The hospital may get sold soon and I am working hard to get the hospital financial records. If the hospital gets sold, all my hard work will be for naught.
Okay, go see Mikie Squared at Church Towers or my minion for further instructions.
