Cammarano's Slate has been confirmed

As I predicted in an earlier article, Peter Cammarano has announced his council slate of Novak, Rhodes-Kearns and Alicea based on a good source I had. Here is the press release provided by his campaign.

Hoboken Mayoral Candidate Peter Cammarano

Announces Council Slate

HOBOKEN, NJ – Peter Cammarano today became the first Hoboken Mayoral candidate to announce a full Council Slate. Michael Novak, Frances Rhodes-Kearns and Angel Alicea will join Cammarano in bringing real change to Hoboken - by lowering taxes and reforming government to make it more efficient, transparent and accountable.

“This ticket is a true reflection of Hoboken,” said Cammarano. “My running mates are all strong, independent leaders who have already given so much back to our community. They’re the right team to deliver the change and reform our city needs at this important time.”

Peter Cammarano is the only candidate running for Mayor who voted to pass a budget and to prevent the 47% tax increase. In choosing a Council Slate, Cammarano made sure to choose candidates as committed to the same fair, accountable approach to government as he is. The Cammarano Team will always put Hoboken’s families and taxpayers first.

“Last year, a group of Council members shirked their responsibility and failed to do the job they were sent by the people to do,” said Cammarano. “I know Michael Novak, Frances Rhodes-Kearns and Angel Alicea would never let that happen. Together, we’re going to change the way government works by making things operate smarter and more efficiently.”

The Cammarano Team will work to lower taxes and create an honest, transparent, accountable government. On Day One, they’ll be ready to bring about real solutions and a better, more affordable future for all of Hoboken’s families. They’ll reform government and put an end to cronyism, patronage and waste in City Hall.

“Anyone can complain about the problems here in Hoboken, but it’s going to take real leadership to solve them,” said Cammarano. “Michael Novak, Frances Rhodes-Kearns and Angel Alicea are the fresh faces needed to bring new perspectives to lower taxes, bring real change and turn our city around.”

Election Day is Tuesday, May 12th. For more information on how The Cammarano Team will reform government and bring the focus back to finding solutions and lowering taxes, please visit http://www.cammarano09.com/.
