Photo Highlights from St. Patrick's Day Parade Party

Last night at Our Lady of Grace Church Annex in Hoboken, the Hoboken St. Patrick's Day Committee held their annual fundraiser for the upcoming 24th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was attended by a large crowd as always. Tickets were $50 and included free beer, wine and mixed drinks as well as a corn beef and cabbage supper which was quite tasty.

Many members of the Cunning family were in attendence as well as former Freeholder Maurice Fitzgibbons, Freeholder Anthony Romano, Councilman Nino Giacchi, Council President Peter Cunningham, Councilwoman Beth Mason, NJ Assemblyman Ruben Ramos, former State Senator Bernie Kenny, Hoboken Police Chief Falco as well as many other aspiring and former politicos.  Here are a few photos that captured some of the festivities.

Councilwoman Beth Abruzese "McMason" (Italian, Jewish, and Irish so as to appeal to the broadest possible electorate) and City Clerk Jimmy Farina (Honorary Irishman of the Year who jokingly claimed they made him that title so that if the parade aftermath is bad they can blame him).  Jimmy can be very funny at times as well as the life of any party. Even I have a wee bit of the Irish in me (My father's mother had a last name of Miller)
