As you are aware, many of New Jersey’s population is unemployed due to current economic conditions. Many New Jersey’s population is seeking second chances. The Hudson County Jaycees, The State, as well as the County, The STY Academy, and Department of Labor and Workforce Development are committed to assisting these workers find other employment and training opportunities and helping employers find the right applicants to fill their open positions. The event we are planning would be immensely beneficial not only to this highly qualified workforce but also to the employer community of New Jersey.

For you, as a valued New Jersey employer, the Resource Event would be an ideal opportunity to meet many of these workers who could fill your current and anticipated job openings. We expect the job seekers to be a balanced mix of young adults seeking second chances, as well as entry level, and a wide array of skills and experience from various sectors and backgrounds.
