Due to the lack of response and use of the two cooling centers opened at the Wallace School and at the HHA Senior Building at 220 Adams Street, the City may close the cooling centers tonight. City officials will monitor the situation until 10pm on July 6th.
If there is no need for the cooling centers, they will close for the night and reopen at 9am. Emergency services and EMS will be available throughout the night. Residents needing assistance are urged to contact the police department. ◦
