Cammarano Up by 161 Votes After the Provisional Ballots

The absentee and provisional counts are in and NJ.com is reporting that Peter Cammarano won the Hoboken mayor's race with 6,188 votes over Dawn Zimmer, with 6,027 by a margin of 161 votes.

Cammarano won by a 161-vote margin, after 119 provisionals and 79 absentees were counted today. The additional absentee margin went 63-15 for Peter Cammarano and the provisionals went 82-36 for Peter as well.

Peter Cammarano declared victory as expected and Dawn Zimmer has yet to concede as she is keeping her options open. Here is her response on NJ.com's Hoboken Now:

The election should be certified by the end of the day. Dawn Zimmer has up to two weeks to decide on a recount or not. ◦
