The Candidates ELEC Reports - Status

Readers and people I know have been chatting about the ELEC repsorts between the two candidates and who filed or not. As of today 1:30PM June 8th these are the filings I could find on NJ's Election Website http://www.elec.state.nj.us/ELECReport/StandardSearch.aspx:

So far Peter Cammarano has only filed his D-2 form wich was recieved on May 28,2009. This form just indicates the formation of a new Joint Committee with the candidates listed. The other two forms that should have been filed are the R-1 forms which show donations and disbursements for both his Mayoral race and the joint committee. As of June 8th, 2009 and 1:30PM those forms are NOT YET filed on NJ's ELEC website. These reports are supposed to be filed 11 days before the runoff election.

Dawn Zimmer filed her Mayoral R-1 form and it has a recieved date of May 29,2009:

Editorial Comment: So far Dawn Zimmer's team is winning on the transparency front. Just citizen donors, no outside PACS and appropriate filings before the election.
