For those who follow the politics of this town closely or even casually, you know that development or re-development always seems to garner a wide berth of opinions on what to build, how much, or not to build at all. Some are
criticizing Beth Mason's latest plan to put a minor league ball field in the Northwest of
Hoboken. For those who think her plan is "pie in the sky" you haven't seen nothing yet. Take a look at a genius marketing spoof that advocates one of the most outlandish re-
development proposals ever conjured up.
There appears to be a new land use constituency in Manhattan:The Manhattan Airport Foundation is a land-use constituency committed to the immediate development of a viable and centrally-located international air transportation hub in New York City for the benefit of all New Yorkers.
My Comment: Of course what the parody is states is that centrally located land for use of the new airport is New York City's Central Park! What a hoot!
